The heart disease is the leading cause of death in adults worldwide. In US only, every 34 seconds a person dies from heart disease and every 20 seconds, a person in the United States has a heart attack. According to the World Health Organization, each year 12 million deaths in the world are caused by cardiovascular diseases.
The countries with the highest death rates caused by heart disease are Russia, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Czech Republic. The countries with the lowest death rates are Japan, France, Switzerland, Spain, and Canada. (more…)
