You probably know what your plans are for Christmas so besides the long lists of presents to buy you should also think about the entertainment. Whether you spend your Christmas home with family or you have planned a special dinner at a friend, this holiday is magic and bright.

– A Christmas Story (1983): with Peter Billingsley, Melinda Dillon and Darren McGavin is one of the best movies ever made for Christmas holidays being considered a classic.

– It’s a Wonderful Life (1946): starring James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore, the movie is a drama but is one of the films nice to be seen around winter holidays.

– The Polar Express (2004): based on a children’s book, this computer animated movie won the hearts of both children and grownups.Tom Hanks, Chris Coppola and Michael Jeter are just few of the stars that give life to main characters with their voices.

– Home Alone (1990): the comedy starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern is one of the Christmas classics.

– Miracle on 34th Street (1947): starring Edmund Gwenn, Maureen O’Hara and John Payne, won three Academy Awards but now it’s more than a nice Christmas movie.

– How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000): the remake of the classic cartoon about a creature who wants to steal the Christmas stars Jim Carrey as main character.
