Lose weight with Montignac Diet

In a world where the number of over-weighed people is growing fast, diets are in vogue. There are hundreds of diets available on the internet, in magazines, on the TV and in the bookstores. One of the most famous diets that proved to be efficient over the years is the Montignac Diet, also known as “French Diet”.

Montignac method is not really a diet, because it doesn’t impose the reducing of the amount of food. This is more like a nutritional concept, suggesting a balanced way of eating.  The Montignac method is based on the Glycemic Indexes (GI) concept, Michel Montignac being the first to ever use it for people wanting to lose weight, back in 1980s.

The Michel Montignac books were a hit and have been published in over 42 countries. Results started to appear soon and in 20 years the Montignac Diet helped so much people to lose weight, reduce risks of heart failure and even prevent diabetes. Many scientific studies later confirmed the excellent and lasting results of the Montignac method.

The best part of the Montignac method is that you can eat as much as you want, as long as you eat according to the Glycemic Index of the food. The method allows you to eat food from all food categories: carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
