We are all very excited about the spring but many persons have seasonal problems. Millions of individuals all over the world live with allergies and for most of them the spring is more than beautiful days and outdoor activities. The most common allergy triggers are pollen (tree, grass or weed), mold spores, dust mite and dander from cats, dogs and rodents.

The pollen is the first and the major allergen that triggers the seasonal allergies. Although is not visible, the pollen appears as soon as February in some cases and so, many persons with allergies don’t even sense it until too late. (more…)

Asthma is becoming a very common disease among children and young adults. The disease consists in airway chronic inflammation which causes shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing and chest tightness. According to doctors the combination of genetic and environmental factors contribute to the onset of this illness.

The asthma attacks are combined with periods of normal breath or in extreme cases the individual can have long periods of shortness of breath with short term severe asthma attacks. These attack could last for minutes or hours, but in some cases the attack can last for few days. (more…)
