When Barack Obama was invested as the 44th United States president in January 2009, many thought he is the second youngest president in the entire United States history. Well they were wrong, but not by far.

Obama was 47 years and 169 days the day he became president, and despite his young age, he is the fifth youngest president of United States.

The youngest U.S. president was Theodore Roosevelt, born in 1858 and invested as president in September 1901. ┬áHe was only 42 years and 322 days old at that point and served in office eight years, until March 1909. (more…)
